This dishwashed has a design fault. The door flops open if you leave it ajar. In the instruction book for the dishwasher, on page 13, it says 'After every wash. When the wash cycle has ended, always remember to turn off the water supply tap and to leave the appliance door ajar. This way moisture and bad odours will not be trapped inside.' Clearly this is not possible, so I am to assume that I must put up with both moisture and bad odours in my new dishwasher. Also, every time I want to put a teaspoon in the dishwasher, I must open and close the door. This is going to mean a lot more wear on the door catch, which I can see is not going to last as long as it would otherwise.

<br>I had a visit from an engineer who said that this is how the dishwasher is designed. Pretty poor design in my opinion.
